Steve established the Company in 2014 as a Chartered Engineer with 38 years' experience in a mix of railway contracting, design, consulting and client roles being accountable for engineering design, projects and business management. He has developed and led multi-discipline teams in partnering and collaborative environments, setting strategies and budgets, and management of P&L accounts.
Steve has detailed knowledge of railway infrastructure along with a good appreciation of railway rolling stock and operations. He is a past President of the Permanent Way Institution (2012-2014) and currently Chair of the Membership Committee. In 2010 he had a paper published on Structural Eurocodes which he presented as part of the ICE Conference.
Previous employers include Network Rail, Jacobs, First Engineering, Owen Williams Railways, GTRM and British Rail. Experienced in leading multi-discipline railway engineering teams delivering design and construction for both asset management and projects.
David has 22 years’ experience in design production and construction delivery for the rail industry.
David has 22 years’ experience in the rail industry in a mix of client, contractor and designer roles. He has held senior positions managing both design production and construction delivery of multi-million pound projects across the UK. David is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Chris joined the team in Jan 2017 and is a Chartered Engineer with 39 years' experience of rail engineering. He has extensive knowledge of railway infrastructure and worked in consulting and client organisations as a designer and in roles as a Designated Project Engineer or Contractors Responsible Engineer.
Chris has worked in the railway environment on a variety of civil engineering projects including complex multi-disciplinary station reconstitution, projects on depots, station structures, platform modifications and extensions, line-side structures, bridges, structural inspections and assessments.
Previous employers include Network Rail, White Young Green Consulting Engineers, WA Atkins Ltd and British Rail.

Jonathan joined the team in Dec 2021 and is currently studying a master’s degree in Civil Engineering with the Open University while working towards chartership with the Permanent Institution Way.
Jonathan has 8 years’ experience undertaking a range of projects involving both structural and civil engineering within the building and rail industry.

Simon has attained a BSc in Design and Technology for Industry. He has 12 years’ design engineering experience in the rail, oil, and gas industry.
Simon is a positive, highly organised, meticulous individual, possessing a strong academic background and accomplished range of career experience. Forward thinking nature, instinctively relishing challenges, and dynamic involvement.

Having made the switch from mechanical to civil engineering Brandon joined the team in Oct 2021 and is currently studying a BEng (hons) degree in Civil Engineering at Liverpool John Moores university while working towards his IEng with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
Brandon has 3 years’ experience within the rail industry being involved in a wide range of projects from line side civils to the design of a new station.
